Success by God's Standards

When we are trying to grow closer to God, we run the danger of comparing our progress to that of others. God does not measure success by where we need to get but by where we have come from. If we are progressing along the path of virtue and faith, God is overjoyed. It does not matter if we are not yet saints. We are in the process of becoming so and that's what holiness and conversion are about. Success is not achieving the goal but keeping on moving toward it with trust and love.
