Slow Down

We're driving around or riding along with someone, a friend or by ourselves. It is partly cloudy, the radio is on. A;though we are there, we are absent; our mind has wandered off. Too much to do perhaps, or simply a desire for something. Then a red light stops you and there, on the left, a small restaurant with amazing food is appealing. It smells delicious, we're hungry, but we need to get going so we go in a hurry. Now we won't know what that restaurant was, not to mention we are still hungry. After all, how could we possibly know our options, if we are always going too fast? Sometimes, we just need to slow down and stop for a few minutes, contemplate it. Life won't end, but it could be the start of something new. Stop at that place and enjoy it.
