God Hears Our Prayers

God hears our prayers. It is important to remember that as we move closer to Jesus. Hearing our prayers doesn't mean always answering them in the way we wish, any more than a parent who listens to a child's Christmas wish list does not necessarily fulfill every wish on it. We are the children, God is the parent. He wants us to speak to him, and that is what prayer is. He will always give rapt attention and will always answer our prayers, but perhaps in a different way than we expected. It's good to remember that we can't put God into a people sized box. He's got a bigger and better and often totally unusual way (to us) to respond to our pleas.
