Genuine Questions or Not

Several times in Scripture, Jesus is asked questions by the Pharisees who were not trying to get information but who are trying to trip up Jesus. Their goal was not to learn but to accuse. We may have experienced this ourselves or we may have done it to someone else. When we embark on the road of conversion, we relinquish the desire to confuse someone with questions or obscurities. In the same manner, when someone questions us, we reply plainly without any artifice. How we speak and how we respond are measures of our conversion. Are you measuring up?
