Forgiveness

Why is it so difficult to forgive someone? We could say because of the pain or disappointment caused, or because we put so much trust on that one person and it went down the pipe. The answer lies in ourselves, in the ego, the pride. We often find ourselves too full of ourselves, when we put ourselves first before anyone else, pride is on the way, hence selfishness. The only way to forgive, is to put our pride behind. The more selfish we are, the harder it is to forgive. Forgiveness is a true act of humility, a noble act of humanness. Learn to forgive and you will learn to be free.
