Combating Selfishness

As we move down the path of conversion, we find ourselves facing our own selfishness. We want to be virtuous, but we also want what we want. Conversion is a continual battle of will against whim. Daily, sometimes even hourly, we need to ask God for the grace to continue to follow His way and not our own.
